**Essential Functions**:

- Participate in recruitment of Hourly Associates (Job posting, Interviewing, testing, reference checking)
- Set up and maintain associate files (ESA forms, Performance reviews, Counselling, Training, and Change form etc...)
- Conduct Orientation training with new associates
- Employee relations - provide information/assistance to associates regarding both labour relations
- Input all New hire information into the system through various screens, maintain and update data base as necessary
- Produces documentation such as: employment letters, offer letters, termination letters and other company correspondence.
- Assist in preparation of statistical information and various reports as required (Headcount, Birthday, Wage Increases, reviews)
- Coordinate with all departments and arrange for contract manpower through prescribed agencies
- Coordinate with the ISG group to prepare new associate swipe card
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures
- Assist in administration of company programs
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support in attendance management
- Provide assistance in supporting culture initiatives

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- May work on special projects
- May answer the company’s main phone line to cover absences
- Participate in the coordination of Social Events and other company functions
- Assist in the coordination of gift baskets to associates - (Birth of new child)
- Other duties as may be required

- Report to his/her Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective devices of which he/she is aware and which may endanger him/herself or another worker
- Report to his/her Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager any contravention of the Occupational Health & Safety Act or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which he/she knows
- Adhere to KCC 5-S program - Clean plant environment
- Minimal exposure to noise
- Fast pace work environment
- Be aware of all posted warnings and hazards of all surrounding machinery
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 polices and procedures

**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Support Business Plan activities
- Update KCC Daily performance (manpower)
- Database Accuracy

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Post secondary education in Business Administration
- 2 years experience with payroll software (ADP) or similar
- Good planning, organizational, analytical and decision-making/Problem solving skills
- Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft office suite
- High degree of attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
