Role Summary:_**

Chubb’s Victoria branch is recruiting for a Commercial Technician to perform high-quality installations, renovations and programming for our current customers and provide superior customer service.

**_ Key Job Responsibilities:_**
- Coordinate, install and program systems (alarm, access control and CCTV) as per the customer’s specifications
- Perform Verification duties as assigned by the Security Coordinators
- Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators
- Work to meet project estimation and deadlines
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required
- Frequent out-of-town travel is a requirement of the role
- Perform on-call work when required

Qualifications:_**
- Trades Qualification - Security Alarms
- Computer and network knowledge in order to set up systems
- Basic understanding of electrical code and requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- A valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean record
- A valid provincial Security Alarm Installer license issued from the government of BC
- Knowledge of Access Control, Alarms and CCTV systems

- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills combined with common sense

- Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and presentations
