**Opportunity**

The Manager, Mobile Animal Wellness Services provides direction and leadership toward the OSPCA’s mobile wellness mission, strategy and annual goals and objectives. This person oversees oversee the daily operations of a Mobile Wellness Clinic including managing a team of receptionists and Registered Veterinary Technicians and in partnership with the Veterinarians onsite.

**Status**: Full time - Permanent

**Location**: Sudbury. ON - This role works onsite at the mobile wellness clinic

**A Typical Day**
- Supervise client services, handles grievances, ensure quality client services and cultivate new and existing relationships with volume clients
- Discuss post-operative issues and concerns with clients in conjunction with clinic veterinarian, scheduling post-op rechecks as required
- Actively promote spay and neuter, regular veterinary care, and educate clients on responsible pet ownership
- Actively support staff and volunteers; promoting the development of skills related to the advancement of our goals and mission
- Lead a variety of human resources activities including, interviewing, employee onboarding, training, performance management, and staff supervision
- Assess, respect and address staff and volunteer needs appropriately and aassisting in staff conflict resolution when needed
- Ensure excellent care, based on medical/care protocols developed in conjunction with Humane Alliance and clinic veterinarians
- Running reports and providing stats all on all different aspects of the operations to whomever in the organization might need it.
- Operate OSPCA’s mobile unit according to developed policies and protocols implemented by the Shelter Health and Wellness department
- Implement the goals, objectives, methods and resources necessary to accomplish the specific mission and programs of the organization

**Do You Have What it Takes?**
- You are a Registered Veterinary Technician
- Passion for shelter medicine
- 2-4 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably within a high volume animal clinic
- Strong administrative, and organizational skillset
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Clean driver’s abstract and must be able to travel in designated area with mobile wellness unit
