**Landscaper**

Trusty Tree Services is a locally employee owned, and operated company based in Sherwood Park, serving the Edmonton Area since 2017. We provide services such as tree pruning, tree removals, tree & shrub planting, hazard assessments, stump grinding, brush chipping, landscaping, and more.

This position is responsible for stump grinding, planting trees and shrubs, landscaping, and commercial grounds maintenance. Your days will be spent outdoors at various locations.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Valid Alberta's Drivers License
- Completion of High School
- Steel toed safety boots are mandatory
- Experience in landscaping, planting trees and shrubs, grounds maintenance, etc. required
- Must be able to safely tow a trailer
- Functioning cell phone that can download apps is required

**Duties**
- Attend Daily Tailgate Meetings
- Fulfill Work Orders Within the Sherwood Park and Edmonton Zone
- Landscape Work: Proper grading, soil levelling, sod/tree/shrub/mulch installations
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments
- Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, trim and shape hedges, and perform other maintenance duties as directed by crew lead
- Safely perform Stump Grinder Operation after proper orientation
- Preparing Trucks and Equipment ahead of time each days work (i.e. greasing, fueling, inspect/walk around truck/chipper and trailers)
- Operating backpack blowers, sweeps, mowers, trimmers and hedgers

**Work Site**:

- Outdoors & operating in all (most) weather
- Commercial & residential sites
- Locations vary: Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, and surrounding areas
- 8 hour shift with overtime availability, Monday to Friday

**Skills & Abilities**
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instruction
- Motivated, Eager to learn, Willingness to work as a team
- Polite and Respectful with all staff and customers
- Gives quality attention to detail while executing projects
- Strong mechanical aptitude an asset
- Able bodied to complete demanding work and repetitive tasks. Able to stand and walk for multiple hours in a day.

**Compensation Information**:
$18.00-$26.00 dependent on experience

Seasonal Contract length: 5 months June to October
- year round work available (snow removal)

Benefits with Alberta Blue Cross after 3 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
