'''Duties''' - Oversee the daily operations of the barn, including feeding, watering, and general care of animals - Coordinate and schedule farrier, veterinarian, and other necessary appointments for the animals - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barn and surrounding areas - Monitor and manage inventory of feed, hay, and other supplies - Ensure proper maintenance and repair of barn equipment and facilities - Develop and implement animal health protocols, including vaccination schedules and deworming programs - Train and supervise barn staff, providing guidance and support as needed '''Experience''' - Previous experience working in a barn or farm setting preferred - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required - Knowledge of animal care practices, including feeding, grooming, and basic medical care - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, veterinarians, and other professionals As a Barn Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our animals and maintaining the overall operation of our barn. Your mechanical knowledge will be essential in keeping our farm machinery in good working order. Your ability to perform heavy lifting will be necessary for various tasks around the barn.
