**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to young students for afterschool program or weekend program
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for children aged 5-12.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich curriculum and interactive instructional materials & class activities

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an instructor or teacher is required (at least two years).
- Passion for working with children and an understanding of learning styles in North American contexts.
- Proficient in classroom management.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners at different age and language level
- Bonus: Familiarity with instructional technology, online learning platforms, or early childhood education.
- Bilingual teaching experience in English and Mandarin is a strong asset.

**Requirements**:

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week

Flexible language requirement:

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 2 years (preferred)
