**About the Maintenance Technician Position**

The maintenance technician's responsibilities will vary with their skills and abilities. Specific problems you may work on include:

- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul
- Maintenance or set up of equipment
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Installing machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and maintain logs
- Operate machining tools
- Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment

**Essential Qualifications**
- Equipment and Machinery experience
- Welding equipment
- Tool Grinders
- Pumps and compressors
- Power tools
- Marine engines
- Hand tools
- **Must be eligible to work in Canada**
