**Role Profile**: Reporting directly to the Global VP Finance and working closely with the executive leadership team and ownership group, this role is responsible for the global financial planning & analysis support function for Citron Hygiene, a Birch Hill Equity Partners portfolio company. You will be responsible for providing insightful analysis and recommendations to influence initiatives undertaken to grow and improve our business by leveraging business intelligence tools (such as Looker). We are looking for a motivated individual that has strong analytical skills and can effectively communicate their findings. This is a unique opportunity to move into a role to build and mould the FP&A function at a progressive and high growth global company, working closely with senior management and our private equity owners. **Key Responsibilities**: - Support the management team in decision-making processes by preforming profitability and analytical deep dives, ultimately arriving at insightful analysis and recommendations to influence initiatives. This involves: - Collaborating - Working closely with the business to understand problems/opportunities - Problem Solving - Seeing the "big picture" in a complex business environment - Financial Modelling - analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to management - Story Telling - Communicating information to business partners - Work closely with the finance team to prepare the monthly reporting package that includes key statistics and analysis for the global business - Learn our business and work with management to create and report on the appropriate KPIs for measuring performance, analysing trends, and understanding variances - Prepare insightful variance analysis for revenue and operating expenses, including detailed understanding of variances to budget, forecast, and prior year - Lead the budgeting and forecasting deliverables and predictive analysis, including iterative review with management, headcount planning & validation, and bottom-up budgeting - Perform financial modelling for the strategic planning process - Responsible for Citron’s business intelligence tool (Looker) to set up various reports working closely with the data science team of Birch Hill Equity Partners **Knowledge and Experience**: - University Degree in Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or business-related discipline - 3+ years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, data analysis, or other related fields - Advanced working knowledge using business intelligence tools to build reporting and communicate findings (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, PowerPivot, PowerBI), NetSuite Planning & Budgeting experience considered an asset - Managed a team, while not required would be considered an asset as this role will be responsible for building out the team over time - Highly motivated team player with collaboration skills - Self-starter with the ability to multi-task - Highly detail-oriented - Highly analytical (ability to deal with complex issues) - Ability to be flexible and work under pressure within a changing environment - Excellent presentation and communication/interpersonal skills - Must be fully vaccinated What’s in it for you as a future member? - Competitive salary - Benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance - Gym membership discounts - Work perks/discounts - Employee Assistance Program - Fun, supportive and collaborative team - Excellent career advancement and learning opportunities within a rapidly growing and stable company To be considered in the final step, successful Citron applicants will be asked to present their proof of full - vaccination status unless there’s an approved religious or medical exemption.
