Data Entry Clerk (IT) — Join Our Tech Team in Toronto

**Location**: Toronto, ON (hybrid — office days for training and team projects)

**Job Type**: Full-time

About the role

We’re an IT-driven team looking for a detail-obsessed Data Entry Clerk to keep our systems clean, consistent, and up to date. You’ll work across spreadsheets, ticketing tools, and CRM/asset systems to ensure data is accurate and easy for the team to use.

What you’ll do
- Enter, update, and audit records across multiple systems (spreadsheets, ticketing, CRM, asset inventory).
- Verify accuracy, spot discrepancies, and resolve them quickly.
- Import/export CSV files; maintain data templates and naming conventions.
- Prepare simple weekly reports and summaries for operations/IT leads.
- Tag/route support tickets and update fields (status, priority, owner).
- Handle confidential information in line with privacy/security guidelines.

What you bring
- 1+ year of data entry or administrative support experience (co-op/internship counts).
- Typing speed ~45+ WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (filters/sorts, formulas like VLOOKUP; pivot tables are a plus).
- Comfort working across multiple tabs/tools; excellent attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Nice to have
- Familiarity with Jira/ServiceNow (or similar ticketing tools).
- Experience with Salesforce/HubSpot or SharePoint/Confluence.
- Basic reporting (Pivot Tables/Power BI) or simple SQL.
- Exposure to IT asset or license tracking.

Schedule & environment
- Monday-Friday, standard business hours.
- Hybrid setup with collaborative, fast-moving team routines.
