**Position Overview**
The Lighting Professionals is seeking a dynamic and strategic **Vice President of Sales & Operations** to lead our sales and operational initiatives as we continue to grow our footprint in the hospitality lighting industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned executive with a proven track record in **lighting sales**, **executive-level leadership**, and **logistics management**, particularly with **overseas manufacturing and supply chain coordination**.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sales Strategy & Leadership**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance targets and fostering a results-driven culture.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
- **Operational Oversight**:
- Oversee end-to-end operations including order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners to ensure timely production, shipping, and quality control.
- Drive process improvements across supply chain operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- **Cross-Functional Leadership**:
- Work closely with product development, customer service, and finance teams to align sales and operational goals.
- Ensure seamless communication between sales and operations to optimize customer satisfaction and delivery timelines.
- **Market & Industry Insight**:
- Leverage previous lighting industry experience to inform sales strategy, product positioning, and competitive analysis.
- Stay up to date with market trends, industry standards, and evolving customer needs.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum **7-10 years of executive-level sales experience**, preferably in the lighting or related building materials industry
- Proven background in **operations or logistics**, including experience managing **overseas supply chains and manufacturing partners**:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive performance across departments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)

Pay: $130,000.00 per year
