**What You Will Do With Us**

As the **Outside Technical Sales - Automation Specialist, based in Regina or Saskatoon**, you will be responsible for growing sales of Automation products in our **Midwest Region.** The Automation Specialist is the lead commercial resource for the Automation business within the Midwest Region (Saskatchewan). This position will be responsible for ensuring that the following activities occur for the Automation business within the Midwest Region

**How You Will Thrive With Us**
- You will provide customer service and technical support to the Midwest area client base for Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Rockwell Encompass products.
- You will prepare and follow-up on technical quotations.
- You will prepare and execute regional operating and business plans.
- You will promote Automation solutions by preparing technical seminars for customers and staff
- You will work closely with the industrial outside sales personnel and supplier representatives, as well as direct on-site customer assistance as required. You will also be responsible for exploring new customer opportunities.
- You will promote **Westburne** as an automation solutions provider by maintaining a high level of technical expertise and presence within our customer base.

**Who Are You**
- You have a Community College Electrical/Electronic (or Automation) Technician or Technologist diploma.
- You have product knowledge of industrial automation products, preferably Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, as well as understands the complementary product lines with the Automation solutions.
- Provides selection and design advice for most assigned products in common configurations.
- Able to differentiate products/solutions from competition and promote the differences as meaningful benefits to the customer.
- Basic knowledge of Panel Design, PLC’s, SCADA design/programming and Intelligent Motor Control.
- Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of Automation standards & terminology.
- Knowledge of control systems and computer technology. o Knowledge of Rockwell Automation Integrator Architecture is a plus.
- You have some previous sales/technical support experience. - You have the proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
- Knowledge of Process Control, Instrumentation, Valves, Metering and Measurement are all assets.
- Hold a valid drivers license and have the ability to travel for sales and training purposes.
