Coppa's Fresh Market is looking for Produce Managers and Assistant Produce Managers to join our team. Our stores are located at 148 Bennett Rd (Scarborough),1700 King Rd (King City) and 4750 Dufferin St (North York).
**About Us**
Coppa’s Fresh Market is a family-owned and operated grocery store chain in the Greater Toronto Area. We are committed to providing a truly authentic grocery experience, where customers get exceptional value, great service, and selection of the finest quality food from around the corner and around the world
- Manage the day to day operations of the Produce departments, including: sales, merchandizing, customer service, inventory, ordering, employee management and scheduling
- Ensure that the Produce department is well-stocked, faced, organized, labelled and priced accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service through becoming well-versed in Coppa’s products and offers
- Maintain proper product rotation; ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to sanitization and safety policies
- Additional duties as required
**Job Requirements**
- Previous experience managing a grocery store Produce department or working in a senior Clerk role is required
- Experience managing vendors, inventory, motivating staff and monitoring performance
- Health and safety orientated with a passion for cleanliness adhering to food, safety and sanitation standards
- Detail-orientated, organized and accurate
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities; positive attitude and able to motivate a team
- Physically fit with strong manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and lifting for long periods of time
- Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
