Aurora, Canada Jombone Inc. Full time

**Minimum 6+ Month's experience with a propane powered forklift is required**

**Pay Rate: $17**

**Work Schedule: 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday**

Primary responsibilities:

- Receive, unload, inspect, transport, store materials
- Separate metal from plastics and putting them into their designated areas.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be comfortable with different odours and maintaining a clean work environment (sweep/cleaning workspace)
- While performing tasks adhering to all safety rules and guidelines.
- Be able to lift 50lbs+ on a continuous basis
- Steel toe boots mandatory

Shift Requirements
- Required Overtime including weekends and holidays may be requested with little notice.

Dress Code:

- Clean attire, including well fit waist high jeans (not baggy around the hips), clean shirt/sweatshirt with no logos or vulgar writing/images.
- Coveralls and glasses/ear protection will be provided

Physical requirements:

- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear,
- Is frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch or stoop,
- Is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack (WP) or Forklift
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment:

- Bending/Stooping
- Standing/walking for extended periods of time
- May be exposed to moving mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks
- The noise level in the work environment may be high

Many contractors convert to full time employees. The following are the eligibility requirements to convert:

- Being at least 18 years of age
- Having a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
