ORGANIZATION WORKING IN THE FIELD OF CONSUMER RIGHTS, INDEBTEDNESS AND BUDGET CONSULTATION **WISHES TO HIRE** **FINANCIAL EDUCATION FACILITATOR/TRAINER** **WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 16 TO 25** **Main activities** - To offer, in a dynamic format, the financial education program "Personal Finance: I’m in Charge" workshops, intended mainly for young people aged 16 to 25. - Maintain relationships with our outreach partners and develop new ones - The Facilitator/Trainer will work in the City of Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. **Responsibilities** - Participate in and obtain accreditation for training offered by Desjardins. - Study and master the content of the 17 workshops developed by Desjardins. - Communicate with schools, colleges, universities and community organizations to offer the workshops. - Deliver the workshops, in person or virtually, to classes, groups or organizations that have requested them. - Manage the evaluation and updating of workshops in collaboration with Desjardins. - Collaborate with the rest of the EBO team on the marketing strategy for the "Personal Finance: I’m in Charge" workshops in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. **Required qualifications** - A post-secondary degree and a minimum of two years experience in a facilitation, event management, public relations, education or similar capacity. - Experience in dynamic group facilitation and adult education - Bilingual in French and English - Ability to travel within the three francophone school boards in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario - Proficiency with technology and software for in-person and virtual presentations Additional Assets - Knowledge of debt, taxation and poverty issues - Experience in promotion and marketing **Compensation** $23 to $28 per hour + benefits, 35 hours per week, one year contract with possibility of renewal By mail: Comité de sélection, EBO Centre, 2-300 Olmstead St., Ottawa, ON, K1L 7K1 By fax: 613-746-9284 The position will stay open until filled.
