Impact Childcare Centre is a brand-new, four classroom facility offering dedicated childcare programs for Toddler and Preschool aged children. We offer Christian based care by providing an environment rich in purpose and experience so as to inspire, motivate and empower children to reach their full learning potential.

We are committed to nurturing strong, healthy children and are looking for **Early Childhood Assitants (ECA's) **to join our team and help facilitate this vision.

Impact Childcare Centre is located in and affiliated with Christian Centre Church. The ECA shall be in agreement with the Church's Statement of Faith and have the spiritual maturity to teach and guide children in accordance with the Bible.

ECA’s will be under the leadership of the classroom ECE as well as the Centre’s Supervisor and Director.

As an ECA at Impact Childcare your responsibilities include:

- Developing, implementing and providing a high quality program for Toddler and/or Preschool children that revolves around educational growth in the areas of sensory play, dramatic play, outdoor play, arts and crafts, music and movement, fine motor, language and circle time.
- Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children by adhering to all policies provided by the Ministry of Education (CCEYA) and Impact Childcare.
- Plan individual and/or group activities to stimulate growth of each child in social, emotional, and academic areas;
- Assist with potty training, diapering, feeding and teaching self-help skills.
- Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management,and families.
- Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
- Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials in line with Toronto Public Health standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
At Impact Childcare our ECA’s will:

- Be energetic & a self-starter who can set up and manage a classroom
- Be engaged with children and have a desire to see each child thrive
- Have a valid standard first aid and CPR certification prior to the first day of work.
- Have a clean criminal check.
- Able to lift up to 20 kilos.
- Have up-to-date immunization record (plus 2 step TB test).
- Have experience working with children (Toddlers and/or Preschoolers)
- Have well-developed interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and volunteers.
- Have experience teaching Bible lessons and a willingness to teach Bible curriculum.
