**Lawn Care Technician - Canmore, Alberta**

**Overview**
We are a new and fast-growing lawn care business serving homeowners in the Bow Valley. Specializing in fertilizing, irrigation, lawn maintenance/cleanup, and weed control, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but ambitious team with room for growth as the business expands.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, debris cleanup, aeration, and seasonal preparation.
- Assist with irrigation system setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper watering for optimal lawn health.
- Identify and address issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies, and provide weed control services.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including spreaders, sprayers, aerators, and other lawn care machinery.
- Document service details, including products used and site-specific notes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide education on aftercare and recommended services.
- Support the team in ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or golf course maintenance is strongly preferred but not required—training will be provided.
- Familiarity with fertilizers, irrigation systems, lawn care equipment, and weed control products is a plus.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and quality of work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Alberta Pesticide Applicator’s License is a strong asset. Additional pay will be provided to those who have or can achieve this certification.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

**Start Date**
The start date will be **weather-dependent (April or May)** and can be flexible to accommodate your schedule.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
