**Job description for new Electronics/ Electrical Repair hire**
**Pylon Electronics Inc. **is seeking an ambitious individual with skills and qualifications to a full-time position as a Senior Electronics Repair person in support of the Ottawa Electrical Lab.
Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing test equipment, evaluating equipment testing methods, data reporting on findings, and findings, and reviewing/ improving repair processes and procedures. Strong communications skills and competent technical knowledge will allow you to interface with customers and co-workers to provide effective calibration solutions.
Minimum skills / Requirements:
- Graduate of an Electronics or Electrical Technical Program
- Minimum of 3 years of electronics repair with advanced electronics knowledge.
- RF & Microwave experience
- Excellent soldering skills
- Well organized and attentive to details
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Meticulous work habits
**Additional qualifications Considered an asset**:
- Calibration skills/ experience
- Above average skills with MS Excel, and VBA.
- Programming experience such as METCAL, LabView, etc.
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025
- Specific experience or training with Electronics measuring/sourcing equipment
