Beacon Lite is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our Electronic department
**The Position**:
The Electronics Technicians' main responsibility is to deliver, set up, repair, and provide maintenance of electronic systems and equipment such as message boards and arrow boards.
**Responsibilities**:
Equipment and Devices Maintenance
Conducts functional and operational tests on equipment and circuitry to evaluate the performance and reliability of the equipment
Recommends improvements and changes in circuitry or installation specifications to streamline assembly and maintenance
Deliver and Installs electronic systems, devices and equipment
Assembles and connects system components
**Data Entry**:
Examines and interprets provided data to implement actions for improvement
**Customer Success**:
Regularly check in with clients and client designates in order to build effective working relationships
Resolves electrical issues by making informed decisions to meet customer needs
Implements effective problem solving strategies to address electrical challenges and determines the most suitable course of action
Administrative
Generate reports and metrics related to project process and electronic challenges
Works closely with the Equipment's Manager to discuss assembly procedures and challenges, providing clarification through sketches to illustrate design details and functional criteria of electronic units

**Qualifications**:
Valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract report
Ability to drive a tow with trailers of all sizes including tandem trailers
Knowledge and understanding of electrical methods, materials and traffic control devices used in street and construction zones.
Knowledge and understanding of electronic testing design and systems
Previous experience as a electronic technician or similar role
Proficiency in utilizing various tools and equipment, along with experience in electronic testing and circuitry
Construction/road experience preferred
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to use sound judgment
Ability to work with mínimal or no supervision
Knowledge of laws and regulations of Book 7 (training can be provided)
**Work Condition**:
Work in all weather condition
Monday to Friday - core hours are 7:00am -4:00pm, but might finish later depending on business requirements.
On-call rotation on weekends
