**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on commercial properties.
- Handle plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
- Conduct electrical work including replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
- Execute carpentry tasks like repairing doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Paint walls and touch up surfaces as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Assemble furniture and equipment according to specifications.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects when required.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- English (preferred)
