**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all mortgage maturities and the mortgage renewal process, to ensure maturing mortgages are either renewed, paid out or refinanced;
- Assist other Mortgage Analysts in underwriting mortgage investments and creating mortgage summaries to be reviewed by the credit committee;
- Prepare, organize, and categorize mortgage files in preparation for reviews by directors, banks and auditors;
- Follow-up on late payments;
- Follow-up on outstanding mortgage documentation for both new deals and renewals;
- Foster relationships with mortgage brokers and brokerages;
- Ensure that all work is handled in full compliance within company and provincial guidelines and standards;
Other tasks and responsibilities as required.**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary education with an emphasis in business administration or equivalent;
- 1-3 years experience in real estate, conveyancing, mortgage financing or banking considered a strong asset;
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build relationships with various individuals inside and outside the organization;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize time sensitive matters;
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. Our company values a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering results while maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere;
- Extensive experience using MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Appropriately licensed in BC or a willingness to complete the Mortgage Brokerage in BC course within 3 months.
