**Duties & Responsibilities**

The site work will include:

- Concrete field inspections
- Soil & Asphalt compaction verification
- Aggregate & Asphalt sampling and testing
- Assist in asphalt and concrete coring for thickness and compaction

The laboratory work will include:

- Testing of aggregate (determination of moisture content, proctor testing, grain size analysis, percent flat & elongated particles, percent crushed particles, percent asphalt coated particles, wash pass)
- Testing of asphalt for Marshall and Superpave Compliance (Ignition oven method, M.R.D.’s, B.R.D.’s, voids, gradation)
- Write lab reports & field reports
- Maintain testing equipment in good condition
- Maintain calibration of equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Must have Excellent communication skills.
- Computer skills an asset.
- Must be capable of working independently.
- Must Have a Valid G2 Driver’s license.
- Must provide work boots (P.P.E. such as hard hat, vest and safety glasses will be provided).
- Must be able to work long hours.
