Hyatt Regency Vancouver is looking for a dedicated and customer service oriented **Regular - Storeroom Attendant/Receiving Clerk**.

The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

- Checking in all incoming product and guest packages.
- Responsible for shipping guest packages and in house needs.
- Receiving of all food and non-food deliveries for the hotel.
- Ordering of both food and non-food supplies
- Creating and receiving purchase orders
- Organizing, storing and rotating of storeroom inventory
- Filling department requisitions
- Receiving, logging and storage of incoming guest packages

Operating hours are from 6:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday and possibly weekends and/or holidays (if needed).

Wage starts at $20.99 per hour, after 6 months of employment it is $24.49 per hour, after 1 year of employment, it is $27.99 per hour.

- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- **Must be able to lift a moderate amount of weight**:

- Must be available to work various shifts from 6:30am to 4:30pm
- Must have refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous receiving and purchasing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food products, liquor, wine and beer preferred.
- Must possess excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Opera, other purchasing/receiving order system)
- Must be able to communicate with a diverse group of individuals (co-workers, suppliers, hotel guests) in a professional manner at all times
- Must be able to provide genuine service to all guests
- Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize
- Previous hotel experience is an asset
- Must have good organization skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision
- Must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude
- Must be physically fit to perform and complete all duties as required
- Must have a good command of the English language
- Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset

**Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying a moderate amount of weight
- Frequent kneeling and bending
- Frequent reaching above head level
- Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
- Capable of performing repetitious duties
