As a **Cook**at The Britannia General Store, you will be responsible for preparing our signature pizzas and ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You’ll also prepare ingredients such as toppings, sauces, and cheeses, ensuring everything is fresh and ready for service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare pizzas according to specific recipes and ensure consistency in quality.
- Prepare and organize ingredients such as toppings, sauces, and cheeses for daily use.
- Follow portion sizes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area in compliance with health department standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and assist in training when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

**Qualifications**:

- **1+ year of experience in a back-of-house kitchen role**, preferably in a pizzeria.
- Valid FOODSAFE Level is considered an asset.
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must be **legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada** and either reside in the local area or be willing to commute.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 32 per week
