This position is responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ACFO will collaborate with various program departments to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
**Duties**
- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Lead the finance team in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial health and operational efficiency.
- Support the CFO in investor relations and communication with stakeholders regarding financial performance.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in financial software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and mentorship.
