In this newly created role, the Human Resources Representative will work closely with the CEO and senior management team to realize the Company’s potential and maximize efficiencies and profitability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong history of accomplishments demonstrating their human resource expertise and leadership capability, with experience and willingness to be hands-on and strategic. Partnering with stakeholders across the organization, this role will design and implement HR strategies, programs and initiatives across all functional aspects of HR including talent acquisition & onboarding, organizational design & culture, change & performance management, and health and safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall EJ Industries business strategy
- Talent management - In partnership with the CEO & department managers, build talent strategies, annual people plans & solutions in line with the EJ Industries business strategies:

- Talent Acquisition
- Onboarding & Engagement
- Training & Development
- Performance Management
- Workforce Planning
- Succession Planning
- Retention
- Develop and lead the change management & implementation of organizational changes/transformation and HR programs including: training & processes improvement, employee engagement and retention programs
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of human capital
- A passion for building great culture, while cultivating a culture that reinforces the employee value proposition, celebrates our employees and differentiates EJ Industries from its competitors
- Oversee health & safety initiatives; ensure legal compliance, provide proper training to department managers
- Develop reports pertaining to KPIs, as appropriate

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years of HR experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and HR professional designation (ie CHRL) is desired
- Experience working in manufacturing, warehousing or process engineering organizations is extremely beneficial
- Experience with multiple HR disciplines including talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, organizational design, performance management, culture change management, resource allocation and health and safety
- Ability to think strategically while also leading and delivering upon the tactics of day to day mandates
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills leveraging effective communication and relationship management approach to build credibility and trust at all levels in the organization
- Track record of delivering a positive impact on an organization's ability to build structure, scale and grow
- Results-driven leader, with the ability to bring new ideas to improve current practices and processes
