**Position overview**:
Reporting to the Business Development and Marketing Manager, you will play an integral role in our Business Development department by developing winning proposals and supporting the creation of marketing materials. To succeed in this role, you must be an effective communicator, possess excellent writing skills, and be a quick learner with a keen eye for details.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Review incoming RFP/RFQ inquiries and coordinate the proposal preparation process from initial RFP inquiry to proposal submission.
- Edit and proofread technical documents for consistency in clarity, style, and tone, as well as compliance with company standards.
- Support marketing initiatives and assist in the creation of content for marketing materials including online content, project datasheets, brochures, and other literature.

**Who you are**:

- A degree or diploma in English, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related discipline with two to five years of relevant experience.
- A love of writing and a strong command of the English language with the ability to transform complex ideas into clear and compelling copy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (or Adobe Creative Suite) and WordPress will be considered an asset.
- A willingness to work occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
