**About the Role**

This role is for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Data as a Service (DaaS) team in delivering data solutions for the AML Compliance function.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed data analysis, data mapping, and data lineage tracing across multiple financial crime data sets.
- Support the design and documentation of data transformation logic and integration workflows.
- Partner with compliance to understand data requirements for KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Transaction Monitoring, Alerts & Cases, and Customer Risk Ratings.
- Translate complex business rules into data logic requirements for engineering teams.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data-Focused BSA.
- Solid experience working with AML-related data sets, including:

- KYC, CDD, EDD
- Transactions, alerts, cases
- Customer risk scores and profiles
- Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
- Bonus: Proficiency in SQL and working with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Bonus: Experience with compliance systems, such as Actimize, SAS AML, or similar platforms, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical domains.
- **Banking experience required**
