Casual/on-call Bartender

As a Bartender at Pioneers Cabin, you play a key role in adding sparkle to special events, weddings, holiday parties, and social gatherings. This on-call position is perfect for someone who thrives in the festive atmosphere of varied events and enjoys crafting memorable experiences for guests through their mixology skills and engaging service. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring all guests are served responsibly and with a smile. You'll have the opportunity to work in a historic and vibrant setting, contributing to the success of each event by providing exceptional drink service and enhancing the overall guest experience.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- **Beverage Crafting Expert**: Masterfully prepare and serve a wide array of drinks, from classic cocktails to custom creations tailored for specific events, ensuring each guest's experience is personalized and memorable.
- **Bar Staff Scheduler**: Organize and manage the scheduling of bar staff for various events, ensuring optimal staffing levels to provide seamless service, even during peak times.
- **Supervision Savant**: Oversee the bar area during events, ensuring the team operates efficiently, service standards are exceeded, and the bar environment remains conducive to an enjoyable guest experience.
- **Stock Management Maestro**: Keep a vigilant eye on bar stock, managing inventory with precision to ensure all necessary ingredients and supplies are on hand for each event, minimizing waste and maximizing variety.
- **Custom Cocktail Creator**: Collaborate with clients or the event planning team to concoct custom drinks that add a unique touch to weddings, holiday parties, and special events, enhancing the theme and guest satisfaction.
- **Social Media & Brand Ambassador**: Leverage social media platforms to showcase signature drinks, behind-the-scenes glimpses of event preparations, and highlight the vibrant atmosphere of Pioneers Cabin, driving interest and engagement.
- **Guest Experience Champion**: Provide exemplary customer service, engaging guests with a friendly demeanor, quick and accurate service, and a knack for remembering repeat customers' preferences, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- **Compliance and Safety Guardian**: Ensure all bar operations adhere to legal and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service, maintaining a clean and safe bar area, and promptly addressing any concerns.
- **Teamwork and Collaboration Pro**: Work closely with the entire events team to ensure a cohesive and coordinated effort in delivering top-tier events, supporting colleagues across functions as needed.
- **Feedback and Improvement Advocate**: Actively seek and respond to feedback from guests and team members alike, using insights to continuously improve the drink menu, service quality, and overall bar experience.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bartending
- Pro-Serve or Alberta recognized equivalent.

Pay: $15.50-$18.50 per hour
