**Position Summary**
- The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual side of the project through the construction phase. This role provides all necessary support including the review and approval of change orders, compliance with the contract, project scope discrepancies, and analysis and evaluation of all contractors’ claims. This position will interface with the on-site Construction Project Manager.
- Working with the project controls team, you will assist in the review and approval of invoices. You will take responsibility for the issue of the RFP through contract award and final completion. You will assist in bid analysis to ensure value for money is achieved and that work is procured at the best market rates. You will provide management, negotiation, and administration of contractor and subcontractor accounts as well as contract administration. You will assist in tracking changes in plans and updating budgets.

**Position Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field or equivalent working experience required.
- Available to work full-time on-site in Regina, Saskatchewan province required.
- 10+ years of general construction experience including contracting, financial, claims, and scheduling required.
- Must have a sound knowledge of contractual relationships.
- High aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports required.
- In-depth understanding of construction materials, pricing, and industry required.
- Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions required.

**Additional Requirements**
- Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
- Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
