Hi Tech Heat Treating is seeking a **permanent full-time shipper & receiver**to join our dynamic team ASAP We are seeking a dedicated, **detailed oriented** hardworking professional individual to fill this position.

**Previous experience in a warehouse/ shop environment is required & forklift experience is a must**

**Key Competencies**
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to accurately recall information and instructions
- Ability to accurately count and verify parts of various sizes
- Physically fit; able to lift and handle parts up to 50+ lbs. and remain standing for extended periods
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication
- Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
- Reliable, honest, and dependable
- Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities efficiently

**Key Responsibilities**
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments of parts and materials
- Verify received shipments against shipping documents and purchase orders
- Load and unload shipments safely using a forklift
- Accurately count, measure, and weigh **all**items received and shipped
- Inspect all incoming items for signs of damage or defects and report discrepancies
- Prepare and package parts securely for outbound shipments to customers
- Complete waybills for pick-ups and deliveries
- Assist customers and carriers with drop-offs and pick-ups
- Perform repetitive heavy lifting and material handling as required (up to 50+ lbs)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Support general warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Forklift experiences is a **must**and required for this position
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in shipping and receiving roles
- Own transportation

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to accurately use measuring equipment, tape measure, weight scale, etc.
- Must have own transportation as we are not on a bus route
- Strong attention to details, dependable and reliable
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, fellow employees and management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Have CSA steel toe safety shoes
- Forklift experience is required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
