About Us:
We are a not-for-profit EarlyON Child and Family centre serving the Parkdale neighbourhood of West Toronto for over 45 years, with a mission to support the healthy social,cognitive, emotional and physical development of children ages 0-6, and their families.
Our organization was established in 1976, as a non-profit aimed at reducing the risk of isolation and with a goal to promote healthy parent-child interactions. As we navigate the new normal, we strive to find new ways to achieve these aims.
About You:
- You are a Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the College of ECEs and have a minimum of two (2) years experience working with young children and their caregivers.
- You are certified in First Aid and CPR (Level C).
- You can provide updated immunization records.
- You possess a current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check, or are willing to receive one
- You have an understanding and appreciation of the Parkdale-High Park neighbourhood and community.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy collaborating with others, and are able to work through conflict in a professional manner.
- You are organized and capable of working in collaboration with the Lead Program Staff to prepare and facilitate early childhood programs:
Salary Expectations:
Hourly wage is $24 per hour.

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
