**Location**: Oakbank, MB (15 minutes from Winnipeg)
**Salary Range**: $44,616 - $50,000 to start (based on experience)
**Training Provided | Client-Focused | Future-Oriented**

**About Us**

We are a locally owned, community-focused **corporate wealth management and professional services firm** based in Oakbank, Manitoba. We support business owners and professionals **accross Canada,**by helping them understand their numbers, stay organized, and make informed financial decisions that support long-term growth.

Our firm was built with **evolution in mind**. As technology and automation continue to change traditional bookkeeping, we believe the future belongs to professionals who can think critically, work with clients, and adapt to changing needs. Rather than staying stuck in “standard bookkeeping,” we continuously evolve our services — and our people — to better serve our clients.

A unique part of our work includes supporting **professionals relocating to Canada**, helping them establish strong financial systems and reporting from day one. Our culture is collaborative, family-oriented, and focused on learning, growth, and long-term relationships.

**The Opportunity**

This is not a traditional bookkeeping role — and that’s intentional.

We are looking for a **Bookkeeper & Client Manager** who wants to grow beyond transaction processing and into **client relationships, financial insight, and business support**. You’ll work directly with business owners, helping them understand their financial information and adapt as their businesses evolve.

This role is ideal for someone who recognizes that the bookkeeping profession is changing and wants to be part of a firm that is **actively evolving rather than being replaced**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and organized bookkeeping records for business clients
- Complete reconciliations and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Work directly with clients to review results and explain financial information clearly
- Support clients with financial organization, cash flow awareness, and best practices
- Manage ongoing client relationships, timelines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with internal team members to deliver proactive, evolving client service

**What Success Looks Like in the First 6-12 Months**

By the 6-12 month mark, a successful **Bookkeeper & Client Manager** will:

- Confidently manage a portfolio of business clients with accurate, timely bookkeeping and reporting
- Build trusted relationships with clients, becoming a go-to point of contact for their financial organization needs
- Clearly explain financial information in a way that supports better decision-making
- Take ownership of client timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups
- Adapt comfortably to evolving tools, systems, and workflows
- Contribute ideas that improve client experience, efficiency, or reporting quality
- Demonstrate growth beyond traditional bookkeeping by understanding how numbers connect to business and wealth decisions

This role is designed to **grow with you** — success is not just about completing tasks, but about becoming a valued part of our clients’ financial journey.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Previous bookkeeping experience is **required**:

- Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals and financial reporting
- Interest in how bookkeeping connects to **business growth and wealth planning**:

- Comfortable learning new tools, processes, and evolving ways of working
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Confident, professional communication skills

**Why Work With Us**

We don’t believe in standing still — and we don’t expect our team to either.
- Be part of a firm that is **actively evolving** to meet changing client needs
- Move beyond routine bookkeeping into **client-focused, value-added work**:

- Develop skills that are **relevant, resilient, and future-proof**:

- Work closely with business owners and professionals
- Enjoy a **supportive, family-oriented office culture** that values growth and balance
- Build a long-term career in a role that adapts as the industry changes

**Additional Information**
- This is a **full-time, in-office position** based in Oakbank, MB
- Remote or hybrid work is **not available**

**To Apply**

If you’re a bookkeeper who sees where the profession is headed — and wants to grow with it — we’d love to hear from you.
