**Job Summary**
Our agency, Axis Integrated Support, partners with various social service agencies to provide front line support to adolescents, adults and seniors requiring specialized care with behaviour management and client safety. Our Associates provide Individuals with physical, developmental, cognitive, and/or mental health challenges within a variety of client-based settings including homes, residences, community facilities and institutions will benefit from our support services.

We are currently hiring PSWs, DSWs, Direct Support Workers in the following areas; Bellville, Madoc, Thomasburg, Hastings area. $26/hr

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personalized care and support to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Foster a positive and empowering environment for clients, promoting independence and self-esteem.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care..

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years of full-time strong experience supporting individuals with complex needs (including developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as complex mental health diagnoses.)
- Certification or training in health and social care a **Community College** diploma or **University** degree in a relevant discipline (CYW, DSW, BA, BST etc) is preferred
- Applicants with a Career College Diploma in a relevant discipline (CYC, DSW, SSW etc) must also have a with complex needs
- Vulnerable Sector Check required; VSC accepted if within the last 6 months
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (must be from a WSIB approved provider)
- **MUST** **HAVE** Crisis training (CPI - Blue Card)
- Vaild First Aid/CPR
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a related role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
