We currently have Full and Part Time Life Enrichment Aide positions available. **What will you do.** - Must be self directed and creative. Must be able to interact positively with residents and coworkers - Carries out planned programs in a creative and imaginative manner, maintaining the optimum interest of the resident - Have a genuine interest and ability to work with residents who have a physical, behavioural, memory and/or communicative challenges - Must be able to work one to one with residents and coordinate small and larger group programs - Assists residents while promoting independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) through the implementation of restorative care programs as outlined in the residents plan of care - Must perform duties in accordance with the homes Mission and Values and the Fixing Long Term Care Act **What will you need.** - Must have diploma and provide proof of completion of one of the following programs: Recreation and Leisure, Kinesiology, Therapeutic Recreation, SSW, DSW, Behavioural Science or diploma or degree in a related field - Must have successfully completed or willing to complete the Food Handlers training program offered by the health unit and maintain certification - Life Enrichment Aide in Long Term Care Home an asset - Class F license is an asset Thank you to all applicants for their interest.
