Colorbeam is a rapidly growing lighting company located in Montreal. We are bringing imagination to light We are a manufacturer/distributor of an innovative low voltage LED lighting solution for the residential, commercial and hospitality market. Our technology enables the creation of environments that are dynamic, beautiful and healthy through industry leading flexibility on tunability, color quality and circadian impact. The company distributes throughout North America via a network of audiovisual integrators.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop quotations in cooperation with the design teams, Colorbeam representatives and customers' information and project requirements
- Conduct post order follow up via mail with ETA's and coordination with logistics and operations for delivery. Coordinate changes with engineering and design as appropriate, while updating all order information
- Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
- Process customer orders through Colorbeam's ERP system (Odoo), following order statuses and addressing relevant issues
- Create invoices, process return requests, issue RMA's, provide order status.
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information including reporting on an ongoing and timely basis of quotes, sales orders and active dealers.
- Stay up to date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is informed
- Conduct regular customer review calls as per customer review procedure and follow up as necessary
- Completing customer on boarding documents and follow up
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related field
- 4+ years of sales order processing experience
- At least one year of sales support experience
- Some lighting industry experience, preferably focused on color tunable/dynamic lighting products.
- Some technical background with an understanding of and/or experience of some of the following: LED technology, control systems (DMX, DALI, Lutron-Ecosystem), software and IoT systems.
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player
- Excellent time management and project prioritization skills.
