Quality Assurance Auditor

**Position Summary**
The QA Auditor’s primary function is to conduct scheduled and random audits of the maintenance and safety management activities carried out by the company to provide assurance that the activities are compliant with company policies and Canadian Aviation Regulations. Non-compliances noted during audits are reported to the applicable manager for corrective action.

**Responsibilities**
This position is primarily accountable for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Complete scheduled and random audits, and process inspections of maintenance and safety activities in accordance with Perimeter’s policies and procedures
- Document audit results and write audit findings and reports as required
- Attend and successfully complete training as assigned
- Additional duties as assigned
**Minimum Education and Experience**:
- AME licence (any rating)
- Proficient in Canadian Aviation Regulations applicable to Maintenance
- Minimum four (4) years relevant professional experience within the aviation industry in progressively more responsible positions
- Sound understanding of safety, risk management, and quality assurance
- Previous auditing experience is an asset
- Working knowledge and skills using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
**Working Conditions**:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs (boxes of records)
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Most work performed in an office environment; contact with staff and the public; rare work outside in all weather conditions when inspecting aircraft
- Safety equipment will be required, hearing protection, safety vests and ramp pass when on airport apron
- Travel aboard company and other commercial aircraft to remote stations for auditing purposes (travel does not usually exceed 1 week)
