We are currently recruiting for a full time IT Administrator, reporting directly to our IT Manager. The IT Administrator will provide support to all hotel employees with technology related issues and offer troubleshooting services for guest-facing technology. They will also ensure the proper maintenance and troubleshooting support for the entire hardware, software and network infrastructure. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop PC hardware, software, and Windows operating systems, and other end user devices, including printers, phones, etc.
- Respond to user requests in a timely manner, and prioritize support based on business needs.
- Set up user accounts and provide on-boarding assistance and training as required.
- Practical experience with network administration, including switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, and wired and wireless infrastructures.
- Maintain software and operating system updates and patches on a routine schedule.
- Maintain hotel-specific equipment, including TVs, phones, internet and A/V devices.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows servers.
- Administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, Azure and Hyper-V.
- Administration of Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Assist with setup and tear-down of guest and meeting room equipment.
- Maintain equipment inventory and perform periodic audits.
- Administration of network cabling, including patching, termination, testing and tracing.
- Administration of data backups, and perform data restores as required.
- Create procedural and other technical documentation for internal use.

**Other**:
The IT Support Specialist will report to the IT Manager. The employee may be required to work varying schedules and provide occasional after hours support as determined based on the business needs of the hotel.

**SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

Job Requirements:

- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a computer related discipline.
- Must have a post secondary degree/diploma in a systems analyst, network administration or related program from a recognized institution
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employees
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Must have proven organizational and problem solving skills
- Must pay precise attention to detail, order and cleanliness
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to work 11:00am - 7:30pm shift
