**FIREPLACE INSTALLATION COORDINATOR**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The Installation Coordinator is responsible for organizing, supervising and communicating with service & installation technicians effectively and efficiently. Provides communications to & with all customers regarding installation scheduling, installation procedures and requirements while following all company policies and procedures.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Main Activities:

- Supervise installation technicians
- Assign daily jobs to installers
- Ensure pre installation review is completed prior to scheduling
- Verify time sheets for all employees in department for accuracy of time claimed before submitting to payroll
- Orient and train employees if needed
- Supervise staff
- Evaluate staff performance
- Coach and discipline staff
- Maintain a high level of customer service with new home builder accounts as well as retail retro customers
- Review all time sheets and material lists to ensure they are complete and handed in daily
- Ensure invoicing is completed by admin support staff or coordinate tasks with other department during vacations, sick leave, etc.
- Update Story Keeper with information pertaining to the job including customer and technician concerns
- Ensure all sales personal are provided with paperwork that is complete and accurate from site check through installation
- Ensure the technicians hand in fuel and vehicle maintenance sheets
- Order all materials and equipment needed for upcoming installations through Purchasing
- Coordinate materials required for scheduled installation and service work with warehouse manager.
- Check for cleanliness of trucks
- Inside trucks
- Outside trucks
- Schedule vehicle fleet maintenance with the Safety Officer when required
- Advise administration staff of time allowed to do each job to ensure efficient scheduling & cost control
- Respond to all installation related customer questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Schedule site checks for installers and complete all necessary paperwork to ensure the job can be done as per the salespersons quote
- Schedule safety meetings & complete required reports for the Safety Officer
- Track and oversee truck inventory for service vans and installer trucks
- Ensure all warranty paperwork & parts are processed accordingly based on supplier requirements

- Knowledge of servicing fireplace products is an asset
- Ability to efficiently organize and supervise employees

The above responsibilities are the main scope of the position but not limited too.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Scheduling: 2 years (preferred)
