Our Full-Time Financial Aid Officer position is for those who excel in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Responsible for ensuring students are appropriately interviewed and screened to meet the school’s admissions criteria.

We are looking for an energetic, talented, flexible person to join our team to manage the promotion activities and brand our name.

**Responsibilities**:
You have exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to consistently maintain accuracy and attention to detail. You also have a strong focus on professionalism and client service excellence. You like to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and meet deadlines. A summary is as follows,
- Ensure up-to-date student payment plans are in the system and collect tuition fees.
- Allocate payments, refunds, and credit notes on the company's database.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets on collections, student financial status, processing transcripts and diplomas, deposits, and credit card payments.
- Process financial transactions for students, covering tuition, book fees, etc.
- Keep records of payments, upcoming payments, and changes to payment plans, calculating withdrawals, cancellations, and refunds and submit monthly progress reports on accounts receivables.
- Notify students of overdue payments and follow up accordingly.
- Provide payment tracker reports for daily transactions.
- Interpret, apply, and comply with regulations governing student financial aid.
- Address student inquiries about invoices, payment plans, and finance-related issues.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Admissions and Administration departments.
- Perform other duties as suggested by the administration.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure student satisfaction and success.

**Qualifications and soft skills**
- Bachelor's degree, and must have 2-3 years of related work experience.
- **Priority is given to prior financial aid experience in a Private Career College.**:

- Ability to work independently, analytical thinking with a focus on efficiency.
- Proven success in customer service and administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems and various accounting software programs (i.e. Excel, Claritysoft).
- Critical thinking
- Good communication skills and patience with students/clients
- Good English speaking and writing skills; multilinguistic skills are welcomed.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- Monday to Friday
