Client Operations Specialist

Permanent Full Time

Reporting to the Director, Shared Services, the Client Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our internal and external clients. You will be a key part of the Canada Life Reinsurance Regina Operations team, working with Shared Services, Trad Life Administration and Claims to achieve common goals, and customer satisfaction.

Major responsibilities will include client servicing, review and input of client reporting for financial purposes, front line contact of direct insurance, and other duties as assigned.

**What you will do**:

- Review and analysis of client reporting for accuracy and reasonableness.
- Correspond with brokers or clients (including direct insureds) as required including responding to or making queries.
- Update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Access databases for tracking purposes.
- Input financials and provide documentation for financial reporting among various teams.
- Correspond with various teams including Finance, Legal, IT, Actuarial teams.
- Ensure excellence in every interaction to provide a consistent experience for existing clients and prospects.
- Ad-hoc duties as required, and responsibilities may change from time to time.

**What you will bring**:

- 2 years in an insurance / reinsurance role in a Financial Services/Insurance firm.
- Post secondary diploma or degree in business, finance, economics or other related discipline.
- Excellent client service skills are required. Ability to anticipate client needs and timely follow up is expected.
- Organizational skills and time management - Able to multi-task, prioritize and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have knowledge of Office365, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, Access and SharePoint.

The base salary for this position is between **$44,900****:

- $74,800** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
