Transmission Repair Technician

Kennedy Ford is looking for a talented and experienced **Licensed Automotive Transmission Repair Specialist**to join our well established award winning team. We are actively seeking a transmission tech with a strong ability to correctly diagnose, repair and replace transmissions on Ford vehicles. Pay ranges from $40.00 - $48.00 (Flat rate) based on qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for financial growth and independence.
**Qualifications**:
- Have valid 310-S license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Possess all tools required for performing daily tasks.
- Strong knowledge of transmission components, diagnosing and repairing.
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance including complex electrical diagnostic procedures.
- Have working knowledge of shop equipment, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operation.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication, and problem solving skills.
- Must have a valid G driver's license
- Must have valid A/C repair credentials
- Ford experience (preferred)
**Job description**:
- Road test, accurately diagnose and repair customer owned vehicles
- Perform regular service & maintenance based on Factory recommendations
- Perform Safety recalls, product updates and applicable warranty repairs
- Assist internal service department with Pre-delivery inspections, used vehicle reconditioning and get-ready accessories. (when available)
- Maintaining all qualifications and necessary product / service training
