**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities through personalized support and care.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage with clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in patient status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other caregivers to deliver comprehensive care.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospice care, dementia care, or working with people with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong caregiving skills, including knowledge of personal hygiene practices and meal preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients and their families.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous but not mandatory.
