**Job Title: Social Media and Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time or Full-Time)**

Store: Thrift & Fund by Low Entropy Foundation

Location: #408 - 552 Clarke Rd, Coquitlam, BC (Hybrid: 3 days in store, 2 days remote)

Hourly Wage: $17/hour

Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (25 hours to 37.5 hours per week)

Term: 6-month Contract, possibility of extension

**Summary**:We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator on a part-time (min 25 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) basis. This position requires 3 days per week in our thrift store and 2 days a week remote.

**Responsibilities**:
**Social Media Management & Content Creation**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the brand's goals.
- Create engaging and shareable content across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- Monitor social media trends and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Generate visually appealing and compelling content, including graphics, photos, and videos, to showcase our thrift store products and promotions.
- Write and edit engaging captions, blog posts, and other content that resonates with our target audience.

**Community Engagement & Collaborations**
- Foster a sense of community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media.
- Develop and implement campaigns to encourage user-generated content and customer testimonials.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, local businesses, and community organizations to expand our reach and impact.
- Negotiate and manage partnerships for cross-promotions and events.

**Marketing & Reporting**
- Develop and implement traditional marketing strategies, including print materials, potential ads, and participation in local events
- Generate visually appealing promotional masterials
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of marketing efforts.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the management team.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in social media management and marketing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (needed to create promotional materials and build relationships with community members)
- Proficient with Google Workspace apps, or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment (many projects and priorities competing for attention)
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and emerging trends
- Creative mindset with a passion for thrift shopping and non-profit community work
- Must have access to a personal laptop to perform job duties
