Kiewit is hiring **Powder Truck Drivers **for the **5B Trans Mountain Expansion Project **located in **Hope, BC.**

As a Powder Truck Driver, you will be driving Light Duty (F250), transporting & loading/unloading explosives from off-site explosives storage magazine to site and back. You will be accountable for accurate inventory and compliance with rules and regulations for transporting explosives.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid driver's license
- **3+ years** experience in a **Heavy Civil/Mining** Environment
- Previous dump or semi truck experience
- Valid **NEXUS, PAL** or ability to obtain a **NRCAN** Approval Letter for handling explosives

**Shift information**
- 12 hours, overtime after 8 hours
- Additional overtime may be required
- Must be willing to work weekends if required
- Flexibility to work day or night shift
- 14/7 Rotation
- To start mid-to-late March.

**Project Information**

The Trans Mountain Expansion Project includes Spread 5B pipeline construction, located in the Coquihalla - Hope region of British Columbia. The Spread 5B project is a Kiewit and Bonatti partnership, which includes the construction of approximately 85 km of pipeline.

**Salary**: $35.13-$43.94 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Heavy Civil or Mining: 3 years (preferred)
- Dump or Semi Truck Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NEXUS, PAL or NRCAN Approval Letter? (preferred)
