We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused leader who excels at coaching, motivating, and developing sales teams in a contact center environment. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales performance while ensuring outstanding customer experiences.
**Day in the life of**a Manager, Inside Sales**:
- Lead and manage a team of ~10-11 outbound sales representatives in a contact center setting.
- Directly manage the Retention Specialist, ensuring strategies to save customers and reduce cancellations are effective.
- Act as an in-house expert on the phone system, managing phone productivity and reporting.
- Develop and implement best sales practices to improve conversion rates, deal volume, and overall team performance.
- Coach and mentor high performers, while motivating mid-level performers to advance.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews, focusing on accountability, improvement, and growth.
- Handle customer complaints and escalations, ensuring positive resolution and retention.
- Partner with the Sales Operations & Quality Manager to align coaching with compliance, process standards, and metrics.
**What we are looking for**:
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience in a business-to-consumer (B2C) sales environment.
- Proven track record of coaching and developing sales agents in a contact/call center environment.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, phone productivity, and CRM/telephony tools (experience with NICE is an asset).
- Experience handling customer escalations and implementing retention strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams toward exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- High-level proficiency with MS Office programs; reporting and analysis experience is preferred.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment; start-up experience is a plus
- Ability to work full-time in our Pickering, ON office.
