**Position Summary**:
The coordinator will report to the Food Safety manager and will collaborate closely with a multi-faceted team in the field to ensure the various provincial and municipal government food and safety standards across Canada in our branches are met.

**The main tasks will be**:
Conduct inspections in our different MTY restaurants;
Explain the non-compliances to our franchisees;
Work in close collaboration with the operational teams of our different banners

Provide training to our franchisees and their staff as well as to our different operation teams;
Follow up on our various internal MTY platforms;
Planning meetings with different teams and management of daily tasks

Support and ensure the ongoing of Food Safety program in Ontario and Atlantic Provinces

Develop a partnership/contact with the various Ministries of Public Health in Ontario and Atlantic Provinces

Protect our public image by maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.

**Requirements and condition**:
Food science major or certificate.

Any experience in food quality control management, food service management and restaurant operations will be considered. The person needs minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurants inspection/audit.

Minimum of one-year relevant experience in the restaurant franchise industry

Possess a valid driver's license and a car;
Ability to work flexible hours as needed;
Can travel daily in GTA, Ontario and travel in Maritimes **(2x year)**

Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
