Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for those you serve through patient-centered care and assistance with daily activities.

**Duties**

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Supporting individuals with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition.
  • Helping clients manage their medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Supporting individuals with disabilities and those experiencing dementia or hospice care needs.
  • Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.

**Experience**

  • Experience in patient care or caregiving roles, particularly in senior care or home care settings.
  • Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities and understanding their unique needs.
  • Knowledge of dementia care practices and hospice support techniques is a plus.
  • A compassionate demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • The ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the clients.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
