**Job description**

The Clinical and Translational Science Lab lead by Dr. Romina Mizrahi, Douglas Research Centre and McGill University, is looking for a research assistant who will assist in several multi-year research projects. These projects will study the brain molecular basis of psychiatric diseases using neuroimaging techniques.

**Tasks**:

- Wet lab tasks including human blood processing (centrifuging, pipetting, HPLC, etc)
- Collecting, processing and stroring biosamples
- Database administration, development, entry and quality assurance of data
- Administration of long-term data storage and data curation
- Administrative tasks for research programs
- Database management

Required:

- Bachelor’s or master’s in biochemistry or pharmacology
- Clinical research experience
- Wet lab experience and certifications
- Database experience: Microsoft Access or MySQL
- Billingual in English and French
- Be rigorous, structured, organized, and detail-oriented and to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment
- Have a strong ability to work in a team, have a sense of initiative, good flexibility and capacity to adapt to change.
- Experience in clinical trials, including informed consent, regulatory audits, and clinical trials documentation would be preferred.
- Holding a valid work permit/ be PR or citizen

Schedule: 35 hours a week

- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- clinical research: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- French (required)
