Lifetime Skills Academy is looking for instructors with a passion for creative outlets, a very exciting opportunity to work with an organization known for its diverse range of programmingand essential skills lessons.We are looking for instructors with a strong teaching background that will be given the freedom of developing their art curriculum, including but not limited to drawing, painting, modelling, and other forms of creative expression.

Full-time, and Part-time positions available

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Lead art classes with six to 20 students ( with support)
- Actively guide students towards completing the assigned project
- Classroom management
- Advance student knowledge following curriculum
- Lesson plan development
- Room setup and organization
- Motivate and engage students
- Communicating clear instructions and guiding a team of younger instructors
- Willing to develop art curriculum

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge in Creative Arts
- Experience teaching students ages 6 to 16
- Good classroom management skills
- Willingness to learn
- Interest in developing artistic classes, expanding student knowledge in the creative arts
- Experience with painting and drawing
- Knowledge of various materials, art supplies, tools, and how to use them
- 3D printing and design experience an asset

- CPR - First Aid certified an asset (you may be required to be certified within one month of hiring)
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check
- Has a valid G license and or access to a vehicle of their own
- Must be available between 3:00pm-5:00pm (Preference goes to those with flexible availability)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
