**Job Title: IT/VoIP Communications Field Technician**

**Location: Based in Hamilton, ON, but work across the GTA**

**Type: Full-Time**

**Salary: Hourly, dependent on experience**

**Position Summary**

**Major Responsibilities / Duties**
- **Network Management**: Plan, install, and troubleshoot a diverse range of network devices and equipment, including firewalls, switches, PCs, VoIP IP Phones, and other peripherals.
- **Hosted PBX**: Responsible for the installation and ongoing support of our Hosted PBX VoIP solution.
- **Security Installs**: Installation and configuration of CCTV and Access Control systems in compliance with company SOPs as required.
- **Structured Cabling**: Assist with structured cabling installations including CAT5, CAT6, Coax, Low Voltage, and Fiber.
- **Documentation**: Create and update detailed technical and system documentation.
- **Physical Requirements**: Must be able to lift, carry, and set up equipment, and be capable of working from a ladder when necessary.
- **Customer Service**: Document essential customer identification information and problem specifics.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Post-Secondary degree or equivalent in an IT-related discipline.
- Prior experience in a technology-related role or IT customer service is essential.
- A valid full driver’s license is required.
- Flexibility to work beyond core business hours of 8:30am - 5pm and participate in on-call rotation.

**Schedule**
- Standard work week is Monday to Friday, but occasional weekend work may be required for customer deployments.
